Landlord-Tenant Disputes
Whether you are a landlord with a tenant who will not pay or leave, or a tenant whose deposit is being withheld, the rent agreement and payment trail decide most of it. NyayGo reviews the documents and coordinates an independent enrolled advocate — often starting with a legal notice.
Where these disputes are decided
Tenancy law differs by state and by tenancy: the Delhi Rent Control Act covers certain Delhi premises, Uttar Pradesh now has a Rent Authority under its 2021 tenancy law for Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, and Haryana has its own rent law for Gurugram and Faridabad. Many disputes outside rent-control coverage go to the civil court. The advocate on your matter advises which forum applies.

Common questions
How do I evict a tenant who won’t leave?
Eviction must follow the legal process — a landlord should not cut utilities or force a tenant out. Typically a legal notice comes first, followed by proceedings before the rent authority, rent controller or civil court depending on the state and tenancy.
Can I recover my security deposit from a landlord?
Yes. A legal notice often resolves it; if not, a recovery claim can be filed. The rent agreement and payment proof are the key documents.
Can NyayGo guarantee the result?
No. Outcomes depend on the facts, the evidence and the law, and no one can lawfully guarantee a result. The advocate on your matter will explain the options and the risks.
